IIRSM Managing Risk - The Essentials

Organisations or projects can be disrupted by several small events that reinforce one another in unexpected ways. Therefore, risks need to be openly discussed, challenged, escalated, and communicated. Everyone, regardless of role and seniority, needs to be able to manage and take risk. The 1-day course is for anyone who needs a fundamental understanding of risk management, which is becoming a pre-requisite for many roles, especially in senior positions. It provides a practical introduction to the principles, tools and processes that can be used to improve decision-making enabling you to become resilient and better prepared for a crisis.

IIRSM Managing Health and Safety Risks - The Essentials

The ILO estimates that more than 2.3 million workers in the world die each year from work–related accidents and diseases. This 1-day course provides an essential understanding of why employees should/ how they can proactively play their role in managing health and safety within their area of work. The course is aimed at those with health and safety responsibilities as part of their roles which includes Managers; those working in support disciplines such as HR, facilities, and compliance; small business owners and any others who need an essential understanding of health and safety so they can effectively contribute to the workplace.

Qualsafe Mental health First Aid.

Throughout this 2-day course Level 3 course, learners will develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to actively promote positive mental health in the workplace by covering a range of topics, including: understanding mental health and its importance, awareness of their own wellbeing as a Mental Health First Aider, common mental health conditions, how to support those experiencing poor mental health at work with tools such as active listening and non-judgemental support.

This course is £200 (plus VAT), with group discounts available. This can be done at client site (office or offshore*) or at Integrity HSE's Aberdeen location. An additional charge applies for offshore or outside UK.

IOSH Managing Occupational Health and Wellbeing

Managing Occupational Health and Wellbeing provides advice to create a healthy and productive workplace. This one day course, available face-to-face or online, teaches how to support employees who are experiencing physical or mental health issues. Learners will understand legal duties, be shown how to complete a health needs assessment, as well as be given the coaching required to be able to help people return to work after illness.

IOSH Managing Safely

IOSH Managing Safely® is the market-leading health and safety course for line managers. This tried, tested and trusted 3-day course is available face-to-face or online, allowing you the flexibility to fit it around a busy schedule. Provides understanding of your responsibilities for safety and health, ensures you can assess and control risks and hazards, enables you to investigate incidents and allows you to measure performance.
