Competence with Integrity

Competence is rarely steady state, and evolves with time to reflect the changing landscape within the working environment. This means that someone who is competent today, may not be competent tomorrow (or certainly not as competent as were before). This is less of the case in terms of technical skills; but non-technical skills evolve on a daily basis.

The Chartered Management Institute (see below) found that 82% of modern managers have no management training when they take the role. That could be why line managers are less trusted today than they were over a decade ago. The Institute of Leadership (see below) found trust in line managers is less that 2009 at the peak of the global financial crisis! These findings are reinforced by International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (see below) who link poor management with increased risk.

Integrity HSE have a range of leadership and management courses which have been widely hailed as 'game changers'. These cover a range of topics from communication and engagement to conflict and time management. The courses are delivered by seasoned professionals who high ranking ex-military and/ or law enforcement personnel. We would be happy to put you in touch with our clients so you can hear about their positive impact.

CMI

Chartered Management Institute (CMI) is the chartered body in the UK dedicated to promoting management and leadership excellence. Chartered Manager (Fellow) is the highest status that can be awarded and recognises truly exceptional skills.

ILM

The Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) is a body with an international community of over 50,000 leaders. Fellow membership recognises globally respected leaders.

IIRSM

International Institute of Risk & Safety Management (IIRSM) has members in more than 90 countries and represents all risk disciplines from energy to aviation. Fellowship is the pinnacle of grades and is reserved to recognise the best risk managers.

The team provided competent HSE professionals for the project and quickly embedded themselves in the Noble values very quickly.

Integrity HSE have met what was requested within the proposal and continue to add further value outside of the scope. I would have no issues with having them support us in the future on further projects and happy to recommend to anyone looking at their excellent and growing range of services”
